Rijeka Crnojevica

This place was an important stop on the trading route of the fish, between Lake Skadar and other destinations, especially Italy. For a short time it was also the royal residence of Ivan Crnojevic (1465-1490) and it has preserved its old architecture.

Nowadays it is a lovely place where you can stop for a short visit before you continue your way to Lake Skadar.

Another surprise for the drivers is the interesting road from Rijeka Crnojevica to Virpazar. A road with just a bigger lane, where 2 cars barely pass one by another and no fences on the edges. But it is still a lovely road where you shouldn’t meet too many cars with great views to Lake Skadar.
